The two brothers co-own a recoding label called Marked Men Records with his brother. The recording stable is an independent record label that was founded in 2006.
Tubz attended primary school in Zimbabwe and later moved to Gaborone, Botswana. He went back to Zimbabwe 1996. In 2000 he began making hip-hop beats while attending tertiary education at Midrand Graduate Institute in Midrand, South Africa. Shortly afterwards he did a house mixtape with Marked Men Entertainment.
He gained interest in Hip hop music in the mid the 1990's when he started hanging with his older brother who was seriously into hip hop and dancehall. His brother also introduced him to rapping and writing rhymes but Tubz was more interested in the beats that his brother rapped on.
He worked with rapper Chub Heightz (from Marked Men Ent.) and producers Taipo (Kin Music), QXJR (Marked Men ENT). He also worked with artists such as Cibil Nyte (Channel O Emcee Africa Champion 2009), KEB, and Samba-T. He was largely involved in the recording, engineering and mastering of the project and was one of the executive producers.
