Call for registration: YouTube strategy webinar for music professionals
UK research and analytics platform Viberate is calling on music professionals to register for a live webinar on crafting a YouTube strategy, with industry veteran and marketing guru Jay Gilbert on 30 March.
The 30-minute session will see Gilbert, who has created and executed unique marketing plans for some of the industry’s most iconic acts including Nirvana, The Police, and Guns N' Roses, give a clear breakdown on creating a winning YouTube formula.
Gilbert will be joined by Steve Lewis, director of user-generated content and video at Symphonic Distribution, and Viberate’s data analyst, Ziga Artac.
The execs will show participants how to monetise their YouTube channels, gain more insights and subscribers, and follow proven business tactics that they can replicate. Attendees will learn how top industry experts convert YouTube uploads into drivers of music growth.
“There are over 2 billion monthly active users on YouTube, and 600 hours of video being uploaded every minute,” Gilbert said. “So while there’s plenty of opportunity to be heard, there’s also a lot of competing content. Using data to effectively tap into the right audiences is imperative, and we’re happy to see labels and musicians finally adopting the approach.”
The webinar forms part of a series of workshops by Viberate. Previous sessions have explored strategies for Spotify, live digital strategy, digital music marketing, and audience engagement.
The platform aggregates more than 1 million pages of artists, venues, events and festivals, enabling music professionals to track performance, showcase their work and explore new business opportunities.
The webinar will begin at 6pm CAT. Seats are limited to 500 people, and interested music professionals can register to attend the event here.
