Nigeria: Sirvik shares new song Vibes

‘Vibes’ was co-created with South African producer Hersh and heralds a new EP titled Me Alone, which is due for release later this year.

Thematically, the song addresses toxic relationships and the need to remain calm through it all, with Sirvik revealing that the offering was inspired by the personal experiences of a close friend, which turned out to be instructive for him. 

Born Victor Akpevwe Ohwo, Sirvik hails from Sapele, Delta State. His sound blends Afrobeats, R&B and pop. He is the founder of indie label Domin Records, and other songs in his catalogue include ‘Salary’, ‘Notice Me’ and ‘One Day’.

“It’s been a long-time preparation and I’m proud I was able to finally pull it through,” Sirvik said. “Music is my thing, I just love to do good music and bless my fans with something to vibe to.”

The musician says his vision is to make meaningful music that inspires and motivates listeners, particularly those undergoing hardship.
