Open call: Audiomack Remix Contest with Nkosazana Daughter

The competition is open to aspiring and established producers with an opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for a Yamaha Montage M6 synthesiser and an exclusive marketing package from Audiomack.

The winner will receive a Top 10 Trending placement on Audiomack, along with a push notification to all their followers, featuring their remix. More than just a contest, the initiative aims to provide emerging talents with a major platform to demonstrate their production abilities while collaborating with one of amapiano’s most recognisable voices.

How to enter

• Participants must follow @audiomackafrica, @NkosazanaDaughter, and @yamahamusicafrica on Instagram.
• Download the official stems of ‘Selimathunzi’, and create their own remix.
• The final submission must be uploaded to Audiomack with the title: Selimathunzi – (Artist Name) #SelimathunziContest.
• To increase visibility, contestants are encouraged to post their remixes on Instagram using the same hashtag.

Key dates & competition guidelines

Submissions close on 14 March 2025, and the grand prize winner will be announced on 19 March 2025. Only remixes uploaded to Audiomack with the correct title format will be considered, and while the contest is open to all artists, submissions will not be eligible for monetisation under the Audiomack Monetisation Programme (AMP).

The competition offers a unique chance for producers to gain exposure, refine their skills, and collaborate with leading industry names. With Audiomack and Yamaha Music Africa backing the initiative, the contest is set to shine a spotlight on fresh talent within the Amapiano scene.
