Savy Henry
Bio
Savy Henry is a Nigerian singer and songwriter based in Lagos, Nigeria. Growing up, he was surrounded by a lot of music at home and particularly at church and all together, made him fall in love with the art.
Savy Henry's style is very unique to him. He has been described by many as the Nigerian John Legend, Ed Sheeran and sometimes even likened to Nigeria's own Asa, who are also some of his favourite artists. With his texture and soulful-sometimes raspy and coarse voice, he's also been compared to the likes of Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, Hozier, JP Saxe and Timi Dakolo. Savy Henry is known for his eclectic style, though his main style can fall under Pop and RnB/Soul, he has been known to write and perform indie, folk, Tropical, EDM and even Afropop.
Savy Henry aka 'Your Serenader' is also known for his ability to write simple, yet compelling and powerful lyrics in his generally themed music genre 'Love Songs' and his ability to deliver them beautifully either in a recording or a live music setting.
