Mariam Namuyodi

Mariam is a young talented drummer, sound engineer and music educator and specialises in the disciplines of rhythmic reading and writing,body percussion and drum theory.

Her music journey started in 2017 where she played as a drummer in Miracle Centre church Entebbe/Uganda and she later got the opportunity to attend a teacher training program where she learnt the Global Music Academy curriculum in Addis Ababa which was supported by the European Union and Goethe institute. It is with this knowledge and experience that she was able to teach at Action Music Academy in Tanzania, Bayimba music academy and the Bayimba youth and hiphop boot camp in Uganda.

Mariam is also a budding sound engineer working mostly as a drum tech and backline technician who has been part of various projects with various artists and teams such as Damien sol, Adekunle gold, Joyous celebration,Neema gospel choir, Straight up vibes, Essence of worship and many more. She is also one of the official sound enginners for Essence of Essence of worship team.
