Call for registrations: Guitar.com Live
Guitar.com is calling on all interested audiences to register for its upcoming free virtual guitar show titled Guitar.com Live, which will take place from 2 to 4 October.
The event will feature gigs, masterclasses and product showcases, and will give players, artists and top guitar brands a place to connect via a series of virtual trade show booths, spaces and stages. Participating brands and artists at the event will include launch partners PRS Guitars, Taylor Guitars, Ernie Ball Music Man and Mono. More participants are expected to be announced soon.
“Audiences can expect to experience a series of incredibly immersive virtual spaces, as well as see the latest gear, hear breaking news first-hand and get up close to their heroes,” Guitar.com editor-in-chief Chris Vinnicombe said. “It’s also perfectly timed for guitar players to figure out what new gear they might want to get – and give – this holiday season.”
There will be three main virtual spaces on the Live Hub: the Main Stage will host artist performances, masterclasses and video podcasts while the Lounge will feature industry discussions, gear reviews and interviews. The Showcase will be the venue where guitar brands will launch their products in a bespoke virtual showroom. It will also host Q&A sessions.
“Audiences are searching for a more meaningful interaction with their favourite instrument makers, artists and online profiles, and they’re doing so in greater numbers than ever before,” Holly Bishop, the head of strategy and partnerships at BandLab Technologies, the company that owns Guitar.com, said.
“We are creating a premium experience, fully backed by the BandLab Technologies group, which will allow brands and artists to connect with their audiences like never before. You won’t want to miss out.”
Individuals who register early also stand a chance to win a year’s free subscription to Guitar Magazine.
