Call for applications: MIAF advisory committees
Pan-African non-profit organisation the Music In African Foundation (MIAF) is calling on industry experts to apply to serve on its various advisory committees.

The advisory committees are mandated by the MIAF Board to ensure good governance and aid in the strategic direction of the organisation in terms of the Foundation’s Constitution, policies and objectives.
Individuals are invited to apply to serve on the following advisory committees:
- Risk management committee
- HR committee
- Membership committee
The MIAF’s mission is to support the African music sector and those who operate in it. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to collaborate with like-minded professionals from across Africa.
Please refer to the attached document (in PDF below) for detailed roles, terms of reference and skills required for each committee.
Please also note that:
- Committee membership is voluntary – members do not receive remuneration. An annual allowance is provided for internet and meeting costs.
- All committee members will need to have or develop knowledge of the Foundation’s core objectives.
- Committee members will be appointed by the Management Board and will meet at least twice a year or as regularly as required.
- Appointed committees will begin work in July 2021.
