Call for applications: Arts and culture grants in Morocco
The French Institute in Morocco (IFM) has launched a call for projects as part of its annual grant programme for young creators and professionals in the arts and cultural sector.
The call targets all legally registered Moroccan associations. The selection of projects will be based on:
- Inclusive: This includes projects that consider local communities and environments. Particular attention will be paid to participatory projects, aimed at the citizens of their regions.
- Educational: This includes projects that offer time for discussion, initiate a dialogue or provide public workshops; and projects imagined in collaboration with schools, collectives or associations supporting minorities and acting against social, economic or gender exclusion.
- Collaborative: This includes projects within the local art scene that are keen to raise artistic standards.
Financial support
The eligible expenses for artistic and cultural projects are as follows:
- Payment of services (artist fees, equipment, etc.)
- Travel and hosting of artists and/or speakers for training.
- Operation of the structure (within 10% of the requested grant).
- Communication costs (within 50% of the total communication budget of the event).
- Rental of equipment.
The application deadline is 14 February.

Interested individuals should fill the application form (attached below in PDF).
The completed form should then be sent separately via email to Thibaud Retailleau at cooperationculturelle@institutfrancais-maroc.com and the French Institute in the applicant’s region.
