Call for applications: ResiliArt Accelerator for female creatives in Zim
The Moto Republik hub, in partnership with UNESCO, is calling on female creatives in Zimbabwe to apply for the ResiliArt Accelerator programme.
The ResiliArt Accelerator innovatively responds to the existing knowledge and capacity gaps in entrepreneurial skills and the formalisation of creative businesses expressed by thousands of stakeholders during the debates organised in the context of the UNESCO ResiliArt movement.
The project seeks to address the persisting challenges that women face in the creative industries, further worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Therefore, five women from Zimbabwe leading an existing creative business with a limited or informal capacity will:
- Receive customised online mentorship from international women creative professionals from Africa and regular face-to-face sessions from a team of local coaches.
- Collaborate to enhance the mentees’ business skills and professional capacities and improve the reach and scale of their creative businesses.
Note: Subjects will range from project planning, pitching, fundraising, marketing and financing.
Requirements
- Applicants must be females aged between 25 and 40 years.
- Applicants must have been running a creative business for at least three years.
- Applicants must be Zimbabwean citizens.
Female creatives from any of the following arts disciplines can apply:
- Music
