Call for applications: Street performance festival in Austria
Applications are open for the 34th edition of the Pflasterspektakel international street performance festival in Linz, Austria, from 21 to 23 July 2022.
Initially established as a meeting point for street performers more than 30 years ago, the Pflasterspektakel Linz has become one of the most important and diverse street performance festivals in Europe.
The event focuses on fairness and solidarity, also providing local talents with their first performance opportunities. The number of acts is limited to about 100 companies or solo performers. All the successful applicants will be announced at the beginning of July and published in the programme booklet.

Note:
- The organiser will not provide technical equipment. Artists also have to bring their own extension cables, power distributors, tape, etc.
- The travel cost contribution is limited to a maximum of €1 000 (about $1 100) an artist or group irrespective of the travel distance, number of persons and actual ticket costs.
- The organiser allocates €25 per diem a person each day to a maximum of 10 persons. Artists keep performance revenues (busking money).
- Costs of overnight stay at hotels including breakfast will be covered by the organiser.
