Lixen Khan has been active in the Gambia, playing major festivals including the Open Mic Festival and the Reggae Kunda Festival yearly.
While in Europe, Lixen performed in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. In Austria, he performed at the fifth edition of Flag Flow High Senegambia, the biggest platform promoting Senegambian artists in Europe. According to the artist, he was the first to perform, and his fellow artists commended his performance.
“I want to bring people together,” Lixen Khan said. “I want to talk on behalf of the people as I see music as very good tool to spread Jah message and positivity.”
Notable for the songs 'I wish Mama', 'Never blame the Youth' and others, Lixen Khan said he will release an extended play record soon.
Speaking about Lixen Khan, Fab Colley, the Austria-based show promoter running Flag Flow High Senegambia, said: “He was the first artist to touch the stage that night alongside big name artist like Rebellion Therecaller, Sun Sooley, Sista Awa, Graduate aka Sam George, Deejay Limbo, Top Gun aka Bakary Marong and King Pata his performance was above par. We should encourage artists like this to avoid our talented artists from absconding while in Europe."
