Ghana DJ Awards 2020: All the nominees

Put together by event production company Merqury Republic, the eighth edition of the awards aims to highlight and honour outstanding contributors to the country’s DJ landscape. Awards will be given to deserving recipients across 29 categories, including Best DJ of the Year, Best International Non-Ghanaian DJ and Best International Ghanaian DJ.

Leading DJs DJ Vyrusky, DJ Mic Smith and Nigeria’s DJ Switch, as well as rappers Sarkodie, DopeNation and Medikal, have secured nominations ahead of the event.

The awards ceremony will be preceded by a workshop at the Accra TouristsInformation Centre on 20 November. Ghana DJ Awards CEO Merqury Quaye said the initiative would improve the country’s DJ culture and music industry as a whole.
