Music marketplace SyncFloor, Bodega Sync launch new sync platform
Music marketplace SyncFloor has partnered with Bodega Sync on a new platform called SyncStore.
SyncFloor provides commercial music use in advertisements, film, TV, games and podcasts, among other services, and lets users find suitable music for their productions. Bodega Sync, a subsidiary of Symphonic Distribution, is a sync licensing agency.
The new platform will further connect artists represented by Bodega with sync opportunities. It will also allow music professionals to see what licences are available and how the songs will impact their budgets.
"We are incredibly excited to launch our partnership with SyncFloor,” Bodega Sync senior director Jon Mizrachi said. “Having such a unique and intuitive search interface with end-to-end licensing through our website opens up a whole new vertical for us, and we're confident our highly curated boutique sync roster will be a big asset to SyncFloor's music marketplace. I really couldn't imagine finding a more complementary fit for both our growing businesses."
SyncFloor co-founder and CEO Kirt Debique said: “Bodega Sync has the kind of catalogue we love working with: creative, high quality, one stop and fiercely independent. We’re excited to add value for people seeking music for picture and to offer more opportunities to the artists Bodega Sync works with.”
The deal forms part of SyncFloor’s vision for an improved experience that promotes access to independent music for sync professionals.
Bodega Sync will join a number of independent labels that have already partnered with SyncFloor, including TuneCore, JioSaavn and Motor Music, among others.
In July, SyncFloor secured a deal with Nigeria’s Mavin Records, which brings the label’s catalogue to more potential sync buyers via the newly launched Mavin Records SyncSite.
Earlier this year, SyncFloor made its service available to the public. The company also recently launched Songs for Podcasters, a sister site to SyncFloor’s commercial marketplace.
