Call for applications: Arab Media Lab project manager in Morocco

AML uses audiovisual creations and creative cinema to develop content to promote a positive image of Morocco and the Arab world. This is done using different interdisciplinary forms: media art, alternative cinema, creative documentary, digital film and video, short films, music video, multimedia performances, video installations, digital mapping, net art and workshops.

It also implements a wide range of art projects including, but not limited to, the Digital Marrakech international festival and the Media Art Morocco workshops series and masterclasses.

Skills and requirements

Interested applicants should:

• Be able to fundraise for projects in Morocco and/or abroad.
• Have the ability to utilise the talent and expertise of team members to achieve objectives.
• Be fluent in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be expected to:

• Plan and manage the implementation of AML’s projects on the ground.
• Contribute to securing funding for AML’s projects.
• Ensure detailed project planning and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan.
• Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.
• Define project budgets.
• Ensure coordination between all project execution partners.
• Provide status reports.
• Draft progress and evaluation reports to the board and donors.
• Build on relationships with existing local and international donors and partners.
• Network to further develop the local and regional network of partners.
