Music In Africa partners with Vibe Radio Senegal

The new partnership will enable the two structures to benefit from each other from their respective resources. In addition to the content presented on both web platforms (viberadio.sn and musicinafrica.net), there will be a regular exchange of exclusive information about African music.

Vibe Radio Senegal was launched in 2014. Broadcasting on the 102.3 FM frequency as well as online internationally, the station targets young, active listeners who want to be both entertained and informed. Offering exclusive information on influential figures in the Senegalese music sector, Vibe Radio has quickly established itself as one of the most popular urban radio stations in Senegal.

A partnership that highlights the development and promotion of African music

In order to provide additional information on the African music sector as a whole to its listeners, Vibe Radio Senegal was in favor of this collaboration with Music In Africa, which is able to provide accurate and up-to-date information, emphasizing the importance of reliable content for the music industry.

Music In Africa - in line with its mission to  promote African music, provide reliable information and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing - hopes to create more interest among lovers of African music and encourage young artists to showcase their work on its online platform www.musicinafrica.net.

Beyond the online content, radio interviews will be held once a week, during which Music In Africa's Senegal team will discuss various relevant topics on African music. These kicked off on Friday 10 June 2016 during the popular radio show '#LaDescente' hosted by Nadia.
