Ghana: Boomplay partners with AirtelTigo to boost music access

The partnership, which follows similar deals between Boomplay and a number of telcos in Nigeria, forms part of Boomplay’s plan to bring its catalogue of over 80 million tracks available to Ghanaian music fans via affordable subscription plans.

The Boomplay x AirtelTigo Subscription Plan offers AirtelTigo users the option to purchase daily, weekly, and monthly subscriptions for as low as GHs 2 ($ 0.25) using their airtime, as well as an ad-free listening experience and unlimited offline playback of downloaded songs.

The initiative also allows subscribers a chance to win assorted prizes in regular lucky draws.
