Joburg Day 2023 announces line-up
The music line-up for this year’s 947 Joburg Day has been announced, and anticipation is building for what promises to be the best edition yet.
The festival, which takes place at Crocodile Creek Polo Club in Lanseria on 2 September, will feature an eclectic roster of local talent including Mango Groove, DJ Maphorisa, Mi Casa, GoodLuck, K.O, Shekhinah, Mafikizolo, DJ Zinhle, Prince Kaybee and Jeremy Loops – who will cater to diverse musical tastes with genres like kwela, jazz, amapiano, hip hop, electronica and more.
The festival will provide a full sensory feast with a delectable array of culinary delights offered by various vendors scattered throughout the festival grounds, the organiser, 94.7 FM, said.
“Joburg Day has become synonymous with top-class local performances, incredible energy and a vibrant atmosphere that unites music lovers from all walks of life,” Primedia, which owns the 947 radio station, said. “This year’s event promises to be no different, as it brings together a stellar line-up of local artists who will take the stage to deliver unforgettable performances.”
