Kémi López

Kémi Lopez is an Afro R&B/Soul singer-songwriter signed under the imprint of Believe Music. Born in Maiduguri, Nigeria, but lives in New Jersey, USA, Kémi Lopez is set to unleash her vocal magic & music prowess with a drive towards setting a pace in the Music industry from the start of the year 2023.

Kémi Lopez music career, just like for most artistes, began at a very tender age  under the tutelage of Whitney and Mariah CDs. She has contested in several talent shows, including the American Idol competition. Having peaked at No #4 on the Billboard Sales Chart with a 3 track album in previous years, she would later reject an Hollywood offer all due to contractual reasons.

Her unique belief in music also generates from the Yoruba perspective in the terms of cultural diversity as well as the American perspective of the music business. “I try to blend both seamlessly in a song, and I think the result is a unique sound. I also have a different side to my singing voice, which has not yet been showcased on my EP Project… So I look forward to introducing all the complex and vocal sides of me to the world….” she states in her response to her deliverables to the global market.
