Bio
DJ Maphorisa (born Themba Sekowe in 1988) is a renowned DJ and record producer from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Maphorisa is a member of a South African music group called Uhuru. His productions are a mixture of house music and Afro-pop. He has worked with notable artists such as Wizkid, Kwesta, Drake, Black Coffee, Runtown among others.
In August 2016 he shared the stage with Akon, Shaggy and Rich Homie Quan at the Passport Experience Festival in Atlanta.
