SA: Listen to Kamo Mphela’s debut single Nkulunkulu

The track is off her upcoming debut EP of the same name and is accompanied by a video laden with choreography. ‘Nkulunkulu’ is available for streaming and download on all major digital service providers. 

The track features the artist’s signature flow and is fused with catchy verses and upbeat percussion.

“Finally, I’m beyond excited to drop my very own song,” Mphela said. “I’ve been working on a project for some time now and ‘Nkulunkulu’ is the first of many new songs from me. I can’t wait for my fans to hear and dance along with me to my music which drops on Friday.”

Speaking to Music In Africa about the new release, she said: “‘Nkulunkulu’ is basically a prayer where I am asking God for success. I want everybody to sing this song while praying.”

“In ‘Nkulunkulu’, I tried to recreate an old song and incorporate the sounds that are familiar to people and made an amapiano version out of it. I hope ‘Nkulunkulu’ will be my greatest achievement.”
