Call for registration: CultureHub Belgrade Convening in Serbia
African artists, technologists, educators and activists interested in expanding their ideas in an international art and tech environment are encouraged to register for the CultureHub Belgrade Convening event between 1 and 3 July in the Serbian capital.
CultureHub Belgrade Convening is a platform for sharing and disseminating digital methodologies for art making and cultural exchange. It is organised by Eho Animato, a collective devoted to research in performing arts and multimedia practices, founded in 2011.
Centring around the theme Solidarity: Digital Strategies for Creative Resilience, this edition will merge the in-person with the digital and local with global to explore the future of art making and international collaboration.
Over three days, the CultureHub team will conduct workshops and training, supporting local actions and performances, sparking new relationships.
Some of the topics to be covered include:
- Creative uses of technology.
- Hybrid performance (IRL/URL).
- Sustainable artistic practices.
- 360 video, live streaming and audiovisual performance.
Eligibility
- The applicants can be students or professionals.
- Knowledge of the English language is required.
- The applicants should be available to attend all three days of the convening.
- The applicants should be active in one or more of the following fields:
- Creative technologies (coding, developers and gaming).
- Performing arts (performers, writers and directors).
- Audiovisual performances.
