In 2021, Tems rose to international prominence with her appearance on Wizkid’s ‘Essence’, whose remix features a verse from Canadian pop star Justin Bieber.
In September 2021, Tems released her sophomore EP If Orange Was A Place EP and secured a record deal with Since ’93/RCA Records.
A YouTube Music Foundry alumna, she has also been singled out by Spotify as an emerging African artist to watch.
