Cris K

Crispin Libimba, also known as Cris K is a young intermediate instrumentalist, mainly the piano and alto saxophone, Flute and Clarinet who has been active In the music industry since early 2021 till date. With a funny and fun personality and is able to fit in with many types of people.

He was born in Lusaka, a city located in Zambia which is in south-central Africa. Cris Kay's musical journey started in 2015 when he played a descant (recorder) a after which he bought a toy piano which made he's father see potential in him and bought for him a small keyboard at a very young age. He went on to learn the piano in April, 2016 at Evelyn hone college which is the largest college in Zambia. He took piano lessons for almost a year before his tutor travelled to China. He had to do all the other research about the piano all alone without any guidance after his tutor left. Even though he didn't have any guidance, that did not stop him from pursuing he's music career.

It was during primary school days that he had so much interest in music as a kid which he first started learning and playing from church (New apostolic church) where he learnt to play worship and classical music. As years went on he went on and learnt new instruments and discovered more things in the musical sector and learnt various types of music.

In 2021 he had his first performance with a friend at a birthday party where he's friends mother was celebrating her birthday. He later on joined vivo music and entertainments formally known as the Glued tones creatives in November, 2022 and performed in various places
which include intercontinental hotel, Irish embassy's residence, Le Elementos Boutique Hotel, Pick n pay stores, circus Zambia, Bo'jangles pub and grill, alliance Francie and many other places. Cris K is now a solo artist who performs on he's own or with any collaboration which is willing work with him.

Despite high school pushing him back and forth in he's music career he has overcome all odds and stood strong in he's path to follow music as his dream and sure that he prosper in his career choice. He finally completed high school in December, 2022 and can now focus on pushing his music career a step further.
