Holly Rey
Bio
Holly Rey is an Afro-electro house artist and songwriter from Durban, South Africa.
Holly signed a deal with Sony ATV at the age of 13. This was followed by the release of her debut album 'Strawberry Skies' in 2010.
She has performed at Shisa Nyama venues and big events such as the 2015 Cape Town Jazz Festival, 2014 and 2016 Umgababa New Year’s Picnic, 2016 Durban Jazz Festival, Essence Festival and the 2016 Shisanyama Festival. She has released a string of songs chief among them 'Inhliziyo Yami', which was produced and co-written by Mondli Ngcobo. This was followed by a three-track EP and a single called 'Bang Bang'.
She also has an album called 'Vanilla House'.
Holly has collaborated with artists such as DreamTeam, Professor, Zakes Bantwini and EmEx. She has also worked with artists from Mozambique, Senegal, Congo, and Nigeria.
