Bio
Laka Waithaka is a saxophonist and composer from Nairobi, Kenya.
He is the band leader of Shamsi Music. He has been part of groups like XnO, the Bethel Jazz Orchestra (US), the Nairobi Jazz Orchestra (KE), Orchestre Lipombe Jazz (France/Kenya), and Shamsi Music (Kenya).
In addition to composing and performing, he is a music educator.
