Call for entries: 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards
The organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) are calling on artists and industry stakeholders to submit entries for the 20th edition of the event.
Hosted by Charterhouse Ghana, the awards seek to honour Ghanaian artists who have released new material between 1 January and 31 December 2018.
Entries can be submitted by individual artists, record companies and labels. Members of the VGMA board will shortlist the nominees. The VGMA board, VGMA academy and the public will conduct the voting in accordance with the VGMAs' rules.
The public will vote in all categories, with the exception of Music Video of the Year, Best Female Vocal Artist of the Year, Best Male Vocal Artist of the Year and Album of the Year.
The application deadline is 31 January 2019.
How to enter
Entry forms must be completed and submitted via the VGMA official website. Soft copies of works and images can also be sent via mail to entry@ghanamusicawards.com.
Artists who prefer not to submit online can physically hand in their entries at the Charterhouse Productions Limited offices, which are located at B824/10 Feo Eyeo Street, Industrial Area, Accra, near TV Africa.
