Lord Alajiman (El Hadji Mansour Jacques SAGNA) founder member of the group DAARA J (school of the life), stay a pillar and an indisputable artist of the African stage, he punctuates a music style hip-hop, of reggae and influences African with a sensational mastery. Child of the Medina multicultural district of Dakar, stemming from the first generation been born after the independence of Senegal, embodying at once the tradition and the modernity.

Lord Alajiman and the " DAARA J " with more than 1500 concerts around the planet, with first parts of Wyclef Jean to the Lincoln Center Festival, Fémi Kuti, Mos Def in Hollywood Bowl, participations in Womad with Peter Gabriel which will bring them to make concerts in Australia, New Zealand, Korea, in United Kingdom, in Singapore in India while keeping a presence for the sénégal and Africa on the musical scéne.

LORD Alajiman and his group " DAARA J " land in France where it does not delay getting noticed. Without taboos, without prohibitions, " DAARA J " evokes women rights, uncertain future of the children and slavery which prospers by hiding the face. Three albums will be born, the eponymic album " Daara J " in 1997, "Xalima" in 1998, and "Boomerang" in 2004, which will take away the prize of the best African album in BBC World Awards in UK.

Then in 2007 Lord Alajiman " DAARA J " only rest in the adventure and prepares actively its new solo Album which will see the participation of big producers of reggae hip-hop and of big African musicians.
