Tererai Mugwadi
Bio
Born on 26 January, Tererai Mugwadi is a female Zimbabwean RnB musician who was raised in Mount Hampden, Harare. She is one of the pioneers of urban grooves music genre. She joined the music industry in her teens. She rose to fame in 2000 with her song ‘Waenda’. The song is found on ‘Chamhembe Volume 1’ compilation album. The song was followed by the release of other songs such as ‘Sands of Time’, ‘Heya’ and ‘I would and I will’.
She has done collaborations with Sanii Makhalima, Roki and Alexio Kawara. In 2013, Mugwadi was working on her second album ‘The Tea Time, Listen Up Volume Two’. Some of the songs she has so far released include ‘Chii Chiri Kuitika’, ‘Bata Musoro’, ‘Where's Our Future’, ‘Samba Song’, ‘Aiwa’, ‘Heya’ and many others.
