Sinach

Sinach is a gospel singer closely affiliated with Nigerian church Christ Embassy Church. Born Osinachi Kalu, she is from Ebonyi state in Nigeria’s South-eastern region and is the second of seven children and began singing as a child. A meeting with Chris Oyakhilome, pastor of Christ Embassy propelled her to focus on Christian ministry. Since then she has performed before several congregations.

Said to have written over 200 songs, Sinach has released six audio albums and three DVDs, her last effort, a DVD and audio pairing, is titled ‘The Name of Jesus’ and ‘Dance in the Holy Ghost’.

Sinach headlines her own concert ‘Sinach Live in Concert’. It has been staged in several countries including her home country Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and the USA. She performs regularly at the Christ Embassy churches.
