SATMAs 2018 nominations still open

Running under the theme Embrace Your Heritage, the SATMAs will be held in Mahikeng in the North West province. The date of the awards ceremony is yet to be announced.

The organisers have said the nominees will be announced after the closing date for nominations on 29 June.

To nominate your favourite artist, group, radio station or DJ, send an SMS (SATMA, name of potential nominee and category) to 33888. Your preferred artist or group must have recorded their album between March 2017 and February 2018.

The event, which is now in its 13th edition, is intended to honour and award traditional musicians across South Africa
