Lisa Good

Bio

Sandisiwe Lisa Ntonga - affectionately known as Lisa Good - is a pop singer hailing from Lamontville in Durban, South Africa. She began writing songs at the tender age of six and went on to sing the lead in her church choir at age eight with her siblings. Inspired by the likes of Destiny’s Child at the time, she joined a rap group and to exercise her versatility also joined a gospel group.

After matriculating from Grosvenor Girls she went to further her studies at Creative Arts College, where she studied music technology and sound engineering. Lisa achieved a lot whilst studying at the college, include dancing for President Jacob Zuma at Kingsmead Stadium and performing for Africa Day at Durban City Hall. She completed her studies in 2012 and moved to Johannesburg to pursue a singing career. That’s where she was discovered by independent label Xhentsa Entertainment.

Her single 'Happy World' and its music video were chosen on the Coast 2 Coast annual music showcase competition in USA, leading to her being invited to perform in New York in May 2016.
