Call for applications: i-Portunus mobility grant

The second pilot project was selected and co-funded by the Creative Europe programme and a consortium led by the Goethe-Institut in partnership with Institut Français and Izolyatsia. It supports the mobility of artists, creators and cultural professionals from the Creative Europe countries.

Successful applicants will receive funding for travel expenses, including transportation, accommodation and a per diem, to another (or several) country(ies) in the Creative Europe region. The duration of the mobility programme should be between seven and 60 days and must take place before 30 November.

Who can apply?

• Composers, musicians and singers (preferably in classical music, jazz and traditional music genres).
• Artists, creators and cultural professionals who are active in the cultural heritage sector.

Successful applications will receive a fixed amount of €350 ($430) per person for transport and a maximum per diem of €2 650. The grant will support the following activities:

• International collaboration.
• A production-oriented residency.
• Professional development activities.

The travel can be continuous or segmented:

• Continuous mobility means that the applicant(s) will have one round trip or one multi-destination trip.
• Segmented mobility means that the applicant(s) will travel several times to one or several destinations. Each trip must last a minimum of five days and the total duration has to be between seven and 60 days.

Note:

• I-Portunus can provide additional mobility support to artists, creators and cultural professionals living with a disability. In this case, the applicant should declare their access requirements. Financial aid will be based on a case-by-case basis and i-Portunus will require receipts for the additional costs.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be artists, creators or cultural professionals who are active in the cultural heritage sector.
• Be at least 18 years old and legal residents of a Creative Europe country.
• Include all of the information requested in the application form, including annexed documents, as summarised in point.
