SA: Nasty C, Manana and Tellaman drop Better Than This single

The song is available for download and streaming on major digital platforms. The trio was spotted in the studio at the weekend, creating a frenzy on social media as fans wondered if there’s new music in the works.

‘Better Than This’ was produced by production duo Select Play, comprising Latsee and Tellaman.

“The three artists were in the studio when they opened a beat pack sent by Lastee,” a statement reads. “The first beat they played immediately grabbed their attention and they started writing to it resulting in a light-hearted song, which will surely have fans singing.”

Nasty C is known for his unique rap skills and chart-topping melodies, which have led him to garner a global audience, seeing him collaborate with pan-African and international artists such as T.I., Runtown and French Montana. Manana, meanwhile, has worked with Burna Boy and the late AKA on their albums Twice as Tall and Mass Country, respectively. Tellaman is known for his number one charting single ‘Whipped’, which featured local R&B singer Shekhinah.
