Integrated platform for artist development
Rhythmic Clash forms part of Bassline’s 360° ecosystem strategy, connecting artist discovery, professional development, and industry exposure.
“Bassline has never simply been about presenting concerts,” Bassline Fest founder Brad Holmes said. “It has always been about building careers, nurturing ecosystems, and creating meaningful bridges between emerging talent and professional opportunity. Rhythmic Clash reflects that philosophy, identifying artists with exceptional potential and placing them within a structure designed for real growth.”
Selected artists will be judged by an international jury, offering exposure to global music industry professionals, curators, and cultural stakeholders.
Development framework
Rhythmic Clash complements Bassline’s existing developmental initiatives:
- Live Music Lab – A training programme equipping the next generation of music professionals with skills in recording, publishing, rights management, and live performance techniques.
- Africa Rise Music Conference (ARMC) – Provides participants with practical experience in a professional music industry setting.
These pillars create a unified pipeline linking discovery, development, industry immersion, and major-stage performance.
