Epic Minds’ ‘Kufeziwe’ debuts on Ikwekwezi FM charts
31 Mar 2026 - 09:04
Versatile record producer Epic Minds has released a new single, ‘Kufeziwe’, featuring vocalist Ms P.O.V, marking the first release from an upcoming EP of the same name.
The track debuted at number 13 on the Ikwekwezi FM charts over the weekend, signalling early traction for the release.
It combines electronic production with Afro-influenced elements, with Ms P.O.V delivering a restrained and emotive vocal performance. According to the artist, the song explores themes of completion and personal growth, with a sound that sits comfortably across both electronic and contemporary African music spaces.
“‘Kufeziwe’ speaks to a sense of things coming together over time. Working with Ms P.O.V felt natural, and her contribution helped shape the direction of the track,” Epic Minds’ Eddie Hatitye said. “It’s a good reflection of where the project is heading.”
Epic Minds, active since 2008, gained wider recognition in 2012 when the track Jiva was featured in the Red Bull Beat Battle through Red Bull Music Studio. The producer has since collaborated with several artists, including Skales, Trigmatic, S’Villa, Camidoh and Ebo Taylor.
The producer has accumulated more than nine million online views and released a debut album, Black Is Gold, in 2022. The forthcoming Kufeziwe EP is expected to include additional collaborations with Ms P.O.V, S’Villa and BryanK.
Kufeziwe is available on major streaming platforms.
