Five-time Grammy Award-nominated Nigerian artist Davido has released his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, a 13-track project that explores themes of faith, heartbreak, grief, wealth and gratitude.

Released through Columbia Records UK, the album marks a more introspective phase in the career of the artist, who has spent the past 15 years contributing to the global growth of Afrobeats.
Named after a Yoruba concept associated with destiny and its relationship with the divine, ORIADÉ opens with ‘On The Road’ and concludes with ‘My Light’, featuring Llona. The album includes collaborations with artists from different countries and musical backgrounds, including Black Sherif, JAZZWRLD, GL_CEEJAY, NO11, Mayorkun, Fola, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura and Llona.
The album follows the release of two singles, ‘I Know Who I Be’, featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_CEEJAY, and ‘Gimme Dat Ting’, a collaboration with NO11 that combines Afrobeats and Amapiano influences.
Elsewhere, ‘Tell Everybody’, featuring Leon Thomas, explores vulnerability and romantic longing. The song begins with a restrained arrangement before building towards an emotional chorus led by Thomas' vocals and harmonies.
The official visual for ‘Tell Everybody’ is scheduled to premiere on 2 August.
“ORIADÉ is the most explorative I've ever been on a record,” Davido said. “Fifteen years in, this album is me looking back at everything – the wins, the losses, the things I’ve had to survive – and choosing joy anyway. It's a thank you to the people who've walked this road with me, and a reminder that everything that's happened to me was always written.”
The album arrives ahead of two London appearances in August. Davido is scheduled to perform A Royal Night in London in Kentish Town on 11 August, followed by his sold-out Davido & Friends Festival on 14 August.
Davido has more than 30 million social media followers and has been a prominent figure in the international expansion of Afrobeats. Earlier this year, he completed the 42-date 5IVE ALIVE TOUR, which covered 12 countries across four continents, and made his debut at Coachella.
He was also featured on the official 2026 FIFA World Cup album on No Place Like Home, a collaboration with Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado. During his FIFA World Cup opening-night performance, he also used the international platform to draw attention to the kidnapping crisis in Nigeria.
