Banshee

Banshee is an award-winning rapper, spoken word artist, and human rights defender who uses her various creative disciplines to fight off social ills and promote justice. She is passionate about children rights, mental health, climate action, sexual reproductive health and youth empowerment.

Throughout the years, Banshee has represented her nation Zimbabwe at events in various countries including France, South Africa, Malawi and Mozambique and holds several accolades which include: the English Spoken Word Artist of the year award at the Poetry Red Carpet (2022), House of Hunger Poetry Slam Championship title and being selected to be the UNICEF Youth Climate Change Ambassador.  She is also a 3-time nominee at the Zim Hop Awards.
