Cleo Ice Queen
Bio
Cleo Ice Queen is a Zambian born hip-hop artist, model and TV presenter. She started listening to hip-hop music when she was six years old. She has been rapping since the age of 11. In 2007, she relocated to South Africa to pursue her education and music career. She considers Lusaka and Johannesburg as her homes. Her stage name Ice Queen was derived from her love of jewellery popularly known as ‘Ice’ in hip-hop slang.
In October 2012, she released her mixtape titled ‘Topic Of Discussion’. She recorded a track with JK and has shared the stage with artists such as Zone Fam, Ice Prince, Amber Davis , Maky2, B1 Mr perfecto , Fameboy Hydro, Crisis from Zambia, Morale, Sean pages, Muzart, Hanni of Big Brother Africa, PsycoLution and Crax of Swaziland, CPWAA of Uganda and LIC of Nigeria. Her biggest achievement so far was in 2012 when she recorded with Khuli Chana on the official ‘Tswa Daar’ remix featuring Ice Prince, Maggz, Navio, AKA and Reason. She was nominated for a South African Hip-Hop Award that year. Besides music, Cleo is also an aspiring actress and model.
