DJ Henry X

DJ Henry X is a Ghanaian producer and DJ based in the Netherlands, where his parents emigrated to in the mid-seventies. His father was a music lover and had a turntable in the apartment.

Among the DJs influences are Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Prince and Tupac Shakur. He first found his feet in UK Garage, going through a series of nicknames including Mister Ex and Mister Exchange. He engaged in promoting and managing underground events in Amsterdam, Hilversum and Haarlem.

In 2008, DJ Henry X performed at the London meets Amsterdam concert. He has since played in several concerts across Europe. In 2016, he recorded a song titled “Like This’ with Nigerian popstar Wizkid.
