Fifi Cooper
Bio
Born Refilwe Boingotlo Mooketsi on 23 October 1991, Fifi Cooper is a RnB South African recording artist. She began singing in primary school when she was eight years old. Her music career started in 2008 when she made a guest appearance on Mo'Molemi's Motzamai: Rebel With a Pause album. She made a breakthrough with a rap single titled 'Chechella Morao' back in 2010.
She has made vocal appearances in AKA's 'Baddest' the remix single. She also did vocals on Khuli Chana's hit single "Mnatebawen". In 2015, she signed a recording contract with Ambitiouz Entertainment, a South African-based record label. That same year she released an AB Crazy-produced song titled "Kisses". The "Kisses" music video was released on Youtube on 24 May 2015. It was directed by Dino Benedetti.
On 13 November 2015, Fifi released '20FIFI', her debut studio album which won her three categories at the 15th Metro FM Music Awards. The album earned her nominations in the "Best Newcomer of The Year" and "Best Female Artist of The Year" categories at the 2nd edition of the South African Music Awards (SAMAs).
Local media regard her as the "First Lady of Motswako".
