Jemimah Sanyu

Born in the eastern Uganda Jinja the source of river Nile, the award winning vocal artist, Jemimah Sanyuh, has been tugging on Ugandan heart strings since the release of her single Ziba Amaaso.

In 2010 she gained play-listing on radio stations across the country, and embarked on national promotional tours, performing on some of the country’s premier music platforms like Bayimba International Festival (Uganda), Selam festival (Ethiopia), VISA for music (Morocco) among others with her band UNIT 446. She has collaborated with some of Top African singers and rappers like Navio on Amaaso Go Googera, Joanita Kawalya of Afrigo band, Juliana Kanyomonzi among others. With energetic performance at nearly every major festival around the country she has earned a reputation as the state gladiator.
