Lasmid is a Ghanaian musician and songwriter from Takoradi known by the stage name Ladsmid Nathaniel Owusu. He won the eighth season of the MTN Hitmaker competition. As a result of Friday Night becoming a trend on TikTok, he gained attention in Ghana's top charts.
He became famous after collaborating with Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene on a remix of his single 'Sika.'
Kofi Kinata's musical legacy has passed on to Lasmid, a multitalented artist skilled in singing and rapping. There is a significant fan base for him in Ghana, especially in Takoradi.
