Nduduzo Matse
Bio
Nduduzo Matse is a gospel artist from Manzini, Swaziland signed to Big Fish Music. The recording stable is owned by gospel sensation Sipho Makabane. His debut album received much love than he anticipated, he was the producer of his album which scooped him nominations in two categories at the prestigious Tihlabani awards celebrations in Swaziland. Some of the songs from the album featured in the Best Video and Best Newcomer of the year categories where he was crowned 'The Best New Comer of The Year' in 2010. He was again nominated at the 2010 Glory awards in the Artist of the Year category. In November 2011, he signed a contract with Mthe’s Music Production a fast growing Music Production company in South Africa and abroad. He joined the likes of Goodman Mgibe, Anderson Matsane and Themba Mdluli who are also under the stable of Mthe’s Music Production. His other project titled 'NgaNkulunkulu (By my God)' was recorded live in Manzini, Swaziland at Christian Media Centre/Jaming house and was released in March 2012.
In June 2014, he managed to keep his voice in check as he performed a phenomenal 40 songs in one night during his Live DVD and CD album recording at Royal Swazi Sun Convention Centre. Matse has a history of voice problems that regularly fails him. The first time he lost his voice was during the Joyous Celebration concert in 2009 and again in 2010 during his live DVD recording at the Royal Swazi Convention Centre.
After that incident, he decided to go on sabbatical , saying he was following an order from above but later came back.
Eight award winning artists feature in the album and they include Frans Dlamini, Sipho Makhabane, Israel Mosehla, Jabu Ngcobo, Thobekile and local artist Benele Dlamini. He also featured Pastor Bakhe Dlamin in one of his many songs he performed on the night (June 2014).
