Ogak Jay Oke

Mgboawaji-ogak Jonah Oke (born April 6, 1983, Ikuru Town, Rivers, Nigeria), known as Ogak Jay Oke, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter based in Port Harcourt.
He sings country and folk music. A passionate proponent of country music in Nigeria, he is active in the promotion of country music in Port Harcourt and is currently the President of Country Music Club of Port Harcourt (CMCPH) Nigeria, a music club whose mission is to promote country music and build friendship.
His career developed from church as he has always been in the music ministry. But his love for the country genre was derived from his dad, Mr Jonah Oke, a great lover of the genre. The music of Jim Reeves, Don Williams, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton and Skeeter Davies remain favourites of the Oke household.
Ogak Jay Oke’s debut country single titled, ‘My Little Angel’, was released in November 8, 2015. It is a dedication to the little children. In August 2016, his debut album of ten tracks titled, “Another Day”, was released.
“Another Day”, is a collection of inspirational, gospel and love songs. The album has enjoyed airplay on popular country music shows within Nigeria and Africa, and is a favourite among fans.
