Vimbai Zimuto

Vimbai Zimuto is an afro traditional, afro pop and afro contemporary musician from Zimbabwe born on the 19th of October 1983 as Vimbainashe Ashleghly Zimuto. Vimbai is also a clothes designer,model, dancer, choreographer, actress and motivational speaker. She plays Mbira,marimba and percussion. In fact she also studied ethnomusicology at the Zimbabwe College of Music, worked in programmes like UMOJA CFC, music crossroads, daughters of Africa and many more African talent development programmes. Vimbai Zimuto worked as a backing vocalist for Oliver Mtukudzi from 2007 until 2010. currently with three albums on all online platforms she has rebranded herself,changed her sound from 2019 going forward.
