Zawadi Yamungu (Nkosingiphile Mpanza) is a celebrated South African musician known for her powerful vocals, mastery of indigenous instruments, and her stage name meaning "Gift from God." Originating from eMandeni, KwaZulu-Natal, she is recognized for her unique style that embraces African culture and heritage, both locally and internationally. Zawadi blends cultural and house music, inspired by icons like Princess Magogo and Busi Mhlongo. Her work preserves African musical traditions while infusing contemporary elements, creating a rich, healing musical experience.

Zawadi's performances are a fusion of indigenous musical elements, captivating audiences worldwide. She has collaborated with artists like Thandiswa Mazwai and participated in productions such as "Queen Nandi The Musical," highlighting her versatility and dedication to African culture.
