Call for applications: Hagana Festival South Sudan
Arts collective Anataban is calling on South Sudanese creatives to apply for the second edition of Hagana Festival, which takes place on 20 and 21 May at Nyakuron Cultural Center in Juba.
The closing date for applications is 14 April. Selected applicants will perform in front of members from different communities in South Sudan.
The festival, which employs art to create a culture of peace and harmony as well as social cohesion in the war-torn country, will feature art exhibitions, theatre performances as well as traditional and contemporary dances.
In addition, South Sudanese artisans will be showcasing and selling curios, jewellery and wood carvings.

About Anataban
Hagana Festival is organised by Anataban, a movement started by young South Sudanese creatives to engage communities on socio-economic and political issues through art. Anataban is also involved in music production and filmmaking.
