Call for applications: Pearl Rhythm Festival Uganda

Pearl Rhythm Stage Coach is an annual music mentorship programme conducted in preparation of the Pearl Rhythm Festival, which will be held in Kampala, Uganda, from 27 to 28 October.

The application deadline is 27 March after which applicants will be notified about the audition dates. Four musicians will be selected and enrolled in a two-month mentorship programme covering studio production and performance rehearsals ahead of the festival.

The musicians will also have a selection of their works produced and recorded for the Pearl Rhythm Compilation CD, which will be ready for their personal promotion during and after the festival.

1. Name or stage name, phone number and email address.
2. Name of instrument, if you play any.
3. A performance recording, if you have any.

Initiated in 2012, the Pearl Rhythm Foundation offers young artists a platform to grow their ideas and networks in Uganda through the Pearl Rhythm Stage Coach mentorship programme. The foundation also hosts monthly mini-festivals every last Monday of the month from May to September ahead of the main festival in October.
