The organisers of the Founder of the Year Awards (FOYAs) are accepting entries ahead of the awards ceremony in November.
The awards, which are in their fifth edition, will run under the theme Believe. “We want to believe in your ideas, young people, startups, empowerment, impact, businesses and founders,” the organisers said.
“We believe that young people are a force for change and can create a change in society through innovative and transformational solutions to solve problems, mostly unemployment and poverty eradication. Join us and find someone to believe in, and together we will impact our communities.”
The annual awards celebrate outstanding young entrepreneurs from Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Ghana, who create jobs by delivering practical and commercially viable solutions that are innovative and sustainable.
